"We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God." - John Stott
Hope 4 El Salvador is a children's evangelism ministry that started in 2010 by Erik & Susan Resendez to bring the hope of Jesus to the people of El Salvador. Their Mission is to connect people to Christ through salvation and discipleship. This is accomplished through an evangelistic ministry based out of San Salvador that penetrates villages, towns and orphanages with the gospel of Jesus Christ through the use of "block parties." For the latest news from El Salvador check out their Facebook page at facebook.com/hope4elsalvador or web site at www.hope4elsalvador.org. If you or your B Group would like to become involved in blessing the people of El Salvador contact Derek Pearce at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Vancouver Church Planting is an exciting and challenging opportunity to partner with NAMB church planting catalyst Ray Woodard and church planters Josh Arrington of Church on the Rock and Garrett Holmes of Towers Baptist Church. The city is filled with immigrants from all over Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa. One out of every three people in Vancouver is an immigrant. The percentage of Vancouver residents whose first language is English is 49.1 percent and Chinese is 25.3 percent.
This connection was established in the summer of 2012 when the High School Choir from Broadmoor went to Vancouver on a mission trip. They worked with Church on the Rock and Towers Baptist and learned that the nations are in Vancouver. The Mike and Amy Yates B Group has committed to this long-term partnership and desire to send several teams a year. Contact Mike or Amy at email@example.com to get connected with blessing the nations, in Metro Vancouver. Helpful web site to explore this mission opportunity - www.vancouverchurchplanting.com
Mexican Indian Training Center of Córdoba, Veracruz, Mexico has been a strategic partner for Broadmoor since 1982. Medical Missions, evangelism, preaching, construction, and music, all factor into the annual projects carried out by BBC in partnership with the MITC in south central Mexico. The medical missions aspect of the work includes an annual Medical Mission Week in early July each year in Mexico. The nature of the Medical work is “shade-tree type clinics” staffed by M.D.’s and R.N.’s. Medical referral lists are kept during the week and given to the Mission Director for assignment to future visiting surgical teams and other specialized medical teams. Contact Jean Baldwin at 318.868.6552 or firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how your gifts might be used.
There is a major unreached people group of more than 30 million people that lives in Southwest Asia and has little to no access to the Gospel. They are an ancient, colourful, tribal people, most of whom have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ for the first time!
The strategy to reach them with the good news of Jesus Christ must be long-term and comprehensive. The ultimate vision is that one day there will be uniquely indigenous churches making disciples of Jesus, reading the Bible and worshiping in their own languages, and advancing the Kingdom of God. To accomplish this task, many Holy Spirit-led followers of Jesus from around the world must move and live among these people, learning their languages, and adopting many parts of their culture and worldview.
B Groups can partner with God through:
Broadmoor Baptist is connecting with a country in Central Asia that has 78 million people and is 99.5% Muslim. This is a beautiful country that was part of the early Roman Empire and much of early church history. Two Broadmoor families are ministering there in different locations and God is using them to make His name great among that nation. Our vision is to take 3-4 trips a year for prayer and ministry to the unreached people and the missionary families. This will only happen if we seek God first for His guidance. To become part of what God is doing through Broadmoor Baptist please contact Andrew at email@example.com. Read more at www.centralasianpeoples.imb.org.
Broadmoor is working with an IMB team to reach a people group running about 2 million people stretching out over 4 countries in West Africa. They are predominately Muslim in their beliefs, although there is a minor movement happening among them that is calling them to follow the road of Christ. There is a family from Broadmoor serving as IMB Church Planters on this team. They are partnering with several B-groups from Broadmoor to come walk along side them and become part of the team on short term trips, hopefully 3 - 6 times a year. For updates on what is happening on the team or prayer requests contact Rich or Lisa Finch at firstname.lastname@example.org or for ways the church is working with this team contact Dan Gordon at email@example.com.
